What is an Elementor Template Kit?
An Elementor template kit is a collection of pre-designed templates and page layouts for use with the Elementor WordPress plugin. It is not a WordPress theme. Kits usually include a selection of page templates for different types of content, such as homepages, About pages, contact forms, blog posts, product pages, and so on.
Template kits require the Elementor Page builder plugin and an Elementor-friendly theme such as Hello Elementor to be installed and activated before being imported.
How to install an Elementor Template kit?
Prerequisites
Before proceeding with the installation of our Elementor Template Kits, please ensure that the following elements are in place:
- The Theme "Hello Elementor" is installed and activated;
- Elementor & Elementor Pro are installed, configured and activated;
- You have enabled "Enable Unfiltered File Uploads" within Elementor's settings;
- Every "Ongoing Experiments" are enabled within Elementor's settings;
We use the Envato Element WordPress Plugin as a key tool for exporting our template kits. To get started, make sure you have the Template Kit – Import plugin installed and activated. Once you’ve completed that step, simply proceed by following these instructions:
- Login to your WordPress admin dashboard;
- Go to Tools > Template Kit;
- Drag and drop (or upload) the ZIP file you downloaded once you purchased your kit;
- An orange banner will appear if your kit requires additional plugins to be installed. Click Install Requirements for details.
- Finally, browse the "Installed Template Kit" and click the "Import Template" button for every templates included within your new kit;
